Custom built wheels

The Bicycle Works build custom wheels for all types of bikes.

Our custom wheels are hand-built on site and offer a ride quality and durability that is superior to most 'off-the-shelf' wheels.  We'll speak personally with you in order to understand your requirements, including riding style and physical attributes, and then build the wheels that will work best for you.

We try to keep a few pairs of 'favourite' builds assembled and ready to go from stock.

We can also rebuild damaged wheels following a crash or accident and we service wheels from most of the major manufacturers.

We use DT and Sapim spokes. Our most popular rims are from H+ Son, Mavic, and DT Swiss, with hubs from Miche, Shimano, Campagnolo, Hope and Chris King.
